Yoshitaka Amano Collaborates with The Weeknd for “AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN COLLECTION”

Yoshitaka Amano has created the artwork for The Weeknd’s Japan-exclusive release, AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN COLLECTION, celebrating the artist’s upcoming return to Japan.

The collection features four titles that have shaped the world of The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour: After Hours, Dawn FM, The Idol, and Hurry Up Tomorrow. Amano created a new artwork for each release, bringing together his distinctive visual style with The Weeknd’s dark and cinematic universe.

The Weeknd has also spoken about Amano’s influence on him since his teenage years, citing works such as Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D, and Angel’s Egg as important inspirations for his approach to animation, film, and music.

AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN COLLECTION will be released in Japan on September 11, 2026.

An AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN TOKYO POP UP STORE will also open at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU beginning the same day.
